Erik and his Doggie

Well, it has been a trying week with Erik.  The dog stayed with us last week and it was good.  Now, the thing that is going to be the challenge is getting Erik interested in his dog.  She is just a pup now, so is not able to do much for him, but the bonding.  I am trying to have Erik involved in as much as I can with taking care of the dog to help with the bonding but it is a hard and tiring process.
This week, we do not have Kozmo, our family dog, or Angel because they are back with Toriano for boot camp.  This Sat. we bring both dogs home for 2 weeks, then they will go back to him for two weeks and so on.
Eriks birthday is April 8th, so we are having a little party for him on Sunday.  His dad is doing something on Sat or Friday.

this past weekend

this weekend, our family, along with our other dog Kozmo went to Chicago to Sanzones school of dog training for training and bonding with Eriks service dog.  She is precious, and hated leaving her.  we have decided to name her Angel.  she will be Eriks angel and ours.  this Sat. we get to bring her home for a week for more bonding time. We are so excited.

New Changes

There have been some changes in obtaining a service dog for Erik. We are now working with Sanzone School of Dog Training.

This is a more affordable option for our family. And a dog has already been chosen for Erik and his needs.
However, we still need your help! Though this is more affordable, it is still very expensive. Each dollar collected will help tremendiously and is greatly appreciated.

Partylite fundraiser

Hello everyone.  Well, what a week we have had.  Erik has been a handful, that is for sure.  I sure cant wait till we get Eriks dog.  That will help us with so much.  These dogs are just amazing to watch in action as they are working with these precious kiddos.  If you want to see one in action, go to youtube and check it out.  it is really something else to see.
Well, we are goingt to be having a partylite fundraiser for Erik now too.  It is on Oct. 9th at 2pm.  If anyone is interested in attending, or wants to see the online catalog, let me know and i will send it to you, or give you the details for the party.
Things are so busy with all of this right now, but it will be so worth it.
Thanks everyone for your love and support!

Bowl-A-Thon

The Bowl-A-Thon was a huge success!  Although we have a long way to go, this was a good start.  We had a great time.  It was so nice to see so many family and friends who were there to bowl and raise money for Erik and his dog, and also those that were there to support us and all the bowlers.  We had alot of fun.  Erik was loving it as well.  He loved bowling, but he really loved going on all the rides there with Jimmy.  He was so tired when we were done for the night.  Wow, this whole thing just touched me so much!  Thanks to everyone who has helped and continues to help us!

Can You Help?

Hi, my name is Erik. I am 7 years old, and I desperately need your help!  You see, I was born with several challenges. I have been diagnosed with Autism, Sensory Integration, a seizure disorder, mild mental retardation, visual processing disorder, OCD and ADHD. These disorders seriously affect me as a little person, and will continue all through adulthood.

Can you help? $1 = 1 step = 1 service dog

I have a hard time regulating my emotions, I sometimes get aggresive and hurt myself or others, even if I don't mean to. I have very little impulse control, which can lead me to dangerous situations, as I don't understand danger either.

Please help! $1 = 1 step = 1 service dog

I have been approved for a Autism Service Dog, however, here in Illinois there is not funding available to cover the cost and these dogs cost ALOT! My family just can not afford the cost either, that is why I am turning to you. All I am asking, is that you donate $1. With each dollar that is donated, it brings me one step closer to obtaining a service dog.

Please, just $1 = 1 step = 1 service dog

This dog will be provided to me by Wilderwood Service Dogs. It will be specially trained just for me! It will be my protctor, my companion, and my BEST FRIEND! This dog will assist me with everyday life moments, it will direct me away from danger, it will help me to live as normal a life as possible.

Thank You! $1 = 1 step = 1 service dog

Don't have a paypal account?, that's ok, you can still donate! You can send a check to:
